
Tevez is confident of winning his fitness battle to give Manchester City a huge derby boost. The Argentina striker damaged his knee playing against Brazil last week after a tackle by former City midfielder Elano. Tevez, 25, was expected to be out for three weeks but after sitting out last week's controversial clash with Arsenal, he has made excellent progress. Now he is hoping to get the all-clear to face old club Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday.
